Description

This 41-page booklet is a translation of meditation teachings of Acharn Kor Khao-suan luang (1901-1978), a Dhamma teacher of modern Thailand whose women's Dhamma community still thrives in the mountains west of Bangkok. The book deals with the mind's habit of deceiving itself by latching onto the notion of "self," and underscores the earnest determination and penetrating honesty which are the only things capable of seeing through inner deception to true knowledge and freedom.

"And now that you know the basic principles, I ask that you make the effort to the utmost of your strength and mindfulness. May you be brave and resilient, so that your practice for gaining release from all your sufferings and stress can reap good results in every way." (p.28).
