Description

By and large, insight develops slowly and gradually through the careful process of observation, investigation and analysis of phenomena until the ultimate nature that lies behind their apparent, conventional truth is distinctly and indubitably perceived. It is this process known in Pali as dhammavicaya (Investigation of Dhamma) and also the closely related one of yoniso-manasikāra (systematic attention) which are examined here.

There are a total of 447 Wheels published by the Buddhist Publication Society (BPS), with 222 titles listed on our website. However, many of these are currently out of stock. Please note that items which are out of stock will not be re-stocked.

When an individual Wheel is out of stock, it can be found within the Collected Wheel Publications (BPS edition). There are 29 Collected Wheel Publications (BPS edition), each containing 15 individual Wheels.

Pariyatti has also started publishing the Collected Wheel Publications (Pariyatti edition), which also include 15 individual Wheels each. We have completed Volumes 1 through 13 (available in both print and e-book versions), and the remaining volumes will be released in the coming years. Free PDF copies of the Collected Wheel Publication (Pariyatti edition) are also available on our website.

Additionally, you can download free PDF copies of individual titles from the BPS website.
