Complete audio recordings of the discourses of the Itivuttaka.
The Itivuttaka consists of 112 suttas in mixed prose and verse. According to tradition, these suttas were collected by the servant woman Khujjuttara, the Buddha's most learned woman lay follower, from sermons given by him in Kosambi. The suttas, elevated the profound, at times reach a pitch of lofty spiritual exaltation. John D. Ireland's translation, which combines clarity and precision, follows closely the original text in all important respects. MP3 format (***they will only play in a CD player that plays MP3 CDs, on a computer, or digital music player).
