This book is the third of the trilogy that BPS has published by the author, Anagarika Sugatananada, who published many insightful and incisive essays about the Buddha's teaching, its historical background, and its relevance to the 20th century under his layman's name.
The other titles in the trilogy are The Buddhist Outlook and Rebirth as Doctrine and Experience.
