The Ten Paramis in the Theravada Commentaries
In this audio CD series of lectures, Ven. Bhikkhu Bodhi explains the Ten Paramis as they are explained in the Theravada commentaries in reference to the practice of a Bodhisattva aiming at Supreme Buddhahood.
The word parami literally means perfection. The southern Buddhist commentaries define the ten Paramis as noble qualities beginning with giving, accompanied by compassion and skilful means, and untainted by craving, conceit, and wrong views.
